Bundala

One of Sri Lanka’s best national parks for birdwatchers is Bundala National Park. It is a haven for birds, with nearly 200 different species, some of which are endemic, residing there. Although Bundala National Park is a wonderful park on its own, it is frequently overlooked in favor of Kumana National Park, Yala, or Udawalawe. While other parks are generally better for viewing larger animals, Bundala is an amazing location for birdlife. In addition, it is less popular than other national parks, so you won’t have to deal with the crowds at Yala to see the wildlife!
