Hikkaduwa

West-coast Hikkaduwa, best known for its long stretch of sand, also has good waves for surfers, reefs for snorkelers and divers, and hotels, restaurants, and bars along the sand. One of the best beaches in Sri Lanka features a turtle sanctuary, island temple, tsunami museum, and amazing coral reefs.
