Koggala
Koggala is a beach front town in the southern locale of Sri Lanka. A somewhat unique objective which is renowned for its namesake Koggala Ocean side and Koggala Lake. Visitors to Koggala Beach particularly enjoy surfing.
Small, picturesque islands dot the lake, a freshwater lagoon. With names, for example, the Cinnamon Island and Zest Island, they are to be sure just about as engaging as they sound. There are many turtle incubation facilities at Koggala which are home to species, for example, the weathered turtle and blockhead turtle. A trip to the Handunugoda Tea Estate, which is known for its Virgin White Tea, which is still produced by hand from the tea bush to the consumer, would delight tea connoisseurs. Some of the paintings in the Kathaluwa Purwarama Maha Viharaya are 200 years old and depict scenes from the Jataka stories.
