NEGOMBO

After having the breakfast leisurely, enjoy city tour in Negombo.

The economy of Negombo is mainly based on tourism and its centuries-old fishing industry, though it also produces cinnamon, ceramics, and brassware. There are also Departmental stores, large supermarkets, and various of branded shops and Boutiques in the bustling streets of Negombo downtown.

In the evening escape the hustle and bustle of the town and enjoy a memorable boat safari in Negombo lagoon. This is a great opportunity to experience the Sri Lankan fishing culture, its people and their lifestyles.

At the end of the tour, enjoy tasty blends of BBQ cuisine with a beer.

NEGOMBO/SIGIRIYA/HABARANA

Early morning, you will be visiting “Lellama” (the local fish markets), an auction which contains many species of fresh fish.
On completion, transfer back to the hotel. After having the breakfast leisurely, you will be transferred to Habarana. En route visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress (A UNESCO World Heritage Site) In the evening relax at the hotel.

HABARANA/HIRIWADUNNA/MINNERIYA NATIONAL PARK/HAB

After breakfast, transfer to Hiriwadunna. Hiriwadunna is all about Sri Lankan village life.

After village trek, you will be escorted to a local home where your authentic Sri Lankan lunch will be cooked. You can go to the rural vegetable cultivation nearby and pick some freshly grown vegetables you like to have for your mouth-watering lunch. With fresh ingredients in hand start the cooking demonstration with the women in the house.

After Lunch, transfer to Minneriya national park and enjoy evening jeep safari. On completion, head back to the hotel.

HABARANA/DAMBULLA/SPICE GARDEN/KANDY

After breakfast, leave for Kandy. En route visit Dambulla cave temple - This Rock Temple houses some of the most unique drawings in magnificently constructed 5 cave temples flanking the golden temple of Dambulla.

After breakfast, enjoy city tour in Kandy and you will be transferred to a traditional Muslim village in Kandy & discover the Muslim influence on Sri Lankan food with dishes like biryani and Watalappam. On completion, proceed to Haputale . En route do sightseen in Nuwara Eliya.On arrival, check in to the hotel & explore beautiful landscapes around the hotel.

After having breakfast leisurely at the hotel, enjoy tuk tuk ride through steep winding mountain roads in Haputale a high altitude destination that boasts of beautiful misty mountain scenery, deep gorges picturesque valleys, cascading waterfalls and verdant tea plantations that stretch out like velvet green carpets. Visit Dambatenne tea factory. On completion, attend to the cookery demonstration. Here you will learn how to prepare and cook taste traditional Tamil cuisine. Enjoy the snack after the cooking session.

After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the World Heritage site of Galle. In the evening engage with the city tour in Galle. Enjoy Sri Lankan famous “Kottu Roti” with a ginger beer.

After breakfast, Drive to a coconut plantation to watch ‘toddy tappers’ extract the palm wine from the coconut sap and taste the results.
